I would stick with the proven history and reliability of the V10. Fords history with new engines is not the best. I would wait at least a year before buying the new V-8. While this may create a firestorm from the loyalists, the real reason Ford has gone back to a big V-8 is cost savings. A lot less parts to a V-8, therefore less production costs.
