Estoc dark souls
If you're adept at backstabs/ripostes you probably want to go with a Magic (or Enchanted) rapier, as I hear it does more BS damage than estoc. If you want to slug it out, a CMW estoc does a lot of damage per poke. Depends. Enchanted will outdamage magic on an INT build. Enchanted estoc +5 has "B" INT scaling.Dark Souls 3? On a pyro build i would recommend it in offhand, because some pyromancies combo with estoc light attack. Leo ring's not worth it though. It only increases physical damage, and you're probably infusing it with dark or chaos. Estoc's range and moveset have always been unbalanced in a turtle's hands. Even in 3, where we are now, Havestoc Turtle remains at large. Thankfully I am not the kind of absolute cancerbaby to turtle with havels on and use Bestoc.Except estoc is a quality weapon and not pure dex.... thank you. nobody seems to realize that. on a pure dex build the estoc only has 335 Attack rating but the Balder side sword has 384, that's 49 points! Not to mention the swag has an arguably better moveset, a bit more reach and the r1 doesn't suffer from the smaller hitbox of the estoc.Ricard's has the quick multi-thrust WA, which is excellent with bleed or powerful weapon buff builds, stacks up damage really quick.
