Economic science association

The IEA has embarked on a multi-year project focusing on enhancing the role of women in the global economics profession. We will undertake research in multiple countries focused on understanding and removing obstacles to women in the profession and engage in a variety of activities to amplify women economists’ voices in the global public sphere.

This paper discusses aspects of recruiting subjects for economic laboratory experiments, and shows how the Online Recruitment System for Economic Experiments can help. The software package provides experimenters with a free, convenient, and very powerful tool to organize their experiments and sessions.By making these recommendations public in the Journal of the Economic Science Association, this report can help researchers reach a common understanding of what is seen as desirable or expected in the field.
