The reason that the 1301 doesn't have these same features is because the 1301 came out several years ago and the A300 UP is new. The 1301 will probably get some of the features of the A300 UP in the future. But back to use of the shotgun. If you are going to be taking shotgun courses, competing in tactical shooting games, etc., then get the 1301.Here’s a video that compares the two.
